Cedecon has been publishing journals, working papers, research reports, and occasional edited books, in addition to the frequent publications by our faculty and graduate researchers in the Economic Journal of Nepal and other journals, including those indexed in Scimago.
The Economic Journal of Nepal (EJoN) is a quarterly publication of the Central Department of Economics (CEDECON), TU. The primary objective of this journal is to publish articles and research papers on economic and social issues facing Nepal and other developing countries of the world. Thus, it aims to provide an intellectual forum for the communication of ideas among economists and social scientists in the areas of economic and social development. The EJN first appeared in 1977, and since then, 151 issues of the EJN have been published regularly over the last forty-five years. The authors are invited to send in their research papers and articles for publication in the standard format prescribed by the EJN.

CEDECON's Working Paper Series
The Central Department of Economics has been publishing a Working Paper Series aimed at disseminating its research findings, policy-oriented studies, and ongoing academic work to a broader audience. The objective is to foster academic discussions, inform policy decisions, and contribute to the advancement of economic knowledge. Through this initiative, the department seeks to provide a platform for researchers, scholars, and policymakers to engage with contemporary economic issues, analyze emerging trends, and explore innovative solutions to economic challenges.
