Call for Research Assistants – CEDECON, Tribhuvan University

The Central Department of Economics (CEDECON), Tribhuvan University, invites applications for three (3) Research Assistant positions under the UGC-funded project "Transition towards E-Cooking: Examining the Role of Subsidy and Information in Promoting the Adoption of Clean Cooking Technology."

Who can apply: Master's thesis students of Batch 2081/82, preferably those working on energy, environmental, or health economics, with an interest in behavioral economics, energy economics, or clean energy transition.

To apply, submit: (1) an application letter, (2) a one-page essay linking your thesis to the project, (3) your submitted thesis proposal, and (4) transcripts from the last three semesters.

Benefits: Close mentoring on research design, data analysis, academic writing, and publication; training in discrete choice modeling and household energy demand analysis; and a modest research stipend.
