Notice: Call for Volunteers
20th South Asian Economics Students’ Meet (SAESM 2025)
The Central Department of Economics (CEDECON), Tribhuvan University, is taking the lead in hosting the 20th South Asian Economics Students’ Meet (SAESM), to be held from November 15–20, 2025, in Kathmandu, Nepal.
This notice invites volunteers from among the students of the MA in Economics Program (CEDECON-TU) who are currently enrolled in the Second Semester and Third Semester (currently appearing in the semester-end examination).
Students who are regular at the department, possess relevant skills, and have a strong willingness to contribute to various aspects of the event are encouraged to apply.
While submitting your Expression of Interest (EOI), please indicate the area(s) where you can contribute to SAESM, ensuring that it aligns with the skills you possess.
Interested students may submit their EOI through the Google Form attached with this notice. The department intends to invite approximately 10–15 volunteers to assist the organizing committee of SAESM 2025. In the event of a large number of applications, the organizing committee will select the required number of volunteers based on the merit of applications, relevant skill sets, and regularity at the department.
The deadline for submission is October 28, 2025.
Please note that a separate call for participation to the meet will be announced closer to the SAESM dates. This call is to those who wish to contribute to the event as volunteers.
